It's been a strange 5 days living with growing realisation I had actually lost coins. I'd rescanned, reinstalled and reindexed everything in my stack. Finally reached out to
openoms (nprofile…c0zh) this evening and within 20 minutes he's restored my access the lost UTXOs with a few simple gap limit setting tweaks in Sparrow. Jesus I love that man.
For the past two hours, I was convinced I'd lost 15% of my cold storage sats. I've been mixing with Jam (nprofile…33st) without glitches this year but my Start9 (nprofile…w0xz) server borked last month. Backup recovery to new hardware has been a little hairy but funds have finally reappeared. The feeling of looking that kind of loss in the eye is mortifying. KISS. Keep it simple stupid.
