Be cautious about purchasing online from Facebook Marketplace. I recommend that you only purchase from people you know.
As an example, right now JoAnn is in the news. They're going out of business and closing all stores. Cybercriminals are cashing in on this by creating fake ads, pretending to be JoAnn, with "closeout sales" in the Facebook Marketplace. When you click or tap on the ad, it takes you to a very realistic website - but it's NOT joann(dot)com.
If the Facebook Marketplace ad is for a friend or relative, great! But if the ad is for a famous company, skip the ad and go straight to the company's website to do your shopping.
