Sengi doesn't support that at all -- every time you open it, it loads all columns from scratch, shows you the most recent post at the top of each, and enables streaming mode unless you scroll the column down just one notch to prevent it.
Tusky also supports multiple columns (they call them "tabs", and because of screen size limitations, you can obviously only have one of them at a time). For the home timeline, if you completely kill the app and re-open it, it will start from scratch -- although I could be wrong, I can't remember now -- but if you just Back out of it (or hit your device's Home button or whatever), and the app stays in memory, when you next open it you'll see where you left off. I don't know if that only happens with the Home column, though, or if it works for all the others too.... Interesting thought.
