jack (npub1sg6…f63m) is the one with the credibility and name recognition with the audience due to Twitter and Square, and that’s what would make the conversation stick in their minds. People won’t pile over and stay until there’s content variety and means to search for content relevant to their interests. Also, comments and DMs are a cluster at present. Need reliable DMs and need comments better threaded (thinking iOS Reddit here). Also as much as we’re lovey dovey huggy poohs here, we need a NACK/thumbs down way to disapprove of content and comments so that clients can use that to help us see the stuff we see as productive by throwing a downvote on the things that have no place in the conversation. They don’t get erased, shouldn’t have to mute someone to silently disagree openly, and you can dig for them if you want, but the negative and non-productive comments should be able to drift to the bottom. Rambling now. There are some things that I miss as social mechanisms that will be needed during scaling.
