TBH the more I see the derision of people's positions as being "emotional" the more it makes me classify the person who uses the term as an imediate overprivileged and under-empathic asshat. It's a borderline absurd appeal to authority and a ritual of "okay but how much are you not actually affected by this problem we are harming you with" and I can't stand that.

Especially cause the same dudes get outright angry if you infringe on what they see as their domains.
