Great suggestions. It seems you've had good experience with co sleeping with your baby. But I've heard from various sources it can be dangerous and is a leading cause for SIDS(sudden infant death syndrome). I would just err on the side of caution. I was thinking of having the baby in its own basinet right next to the bed.
What is your sleep set up like? Maybe that is more optimal than most.
