At a personal level, probably my biggest take away from the election result was that the Greens did not do better, indicating how people are still not yet taking the risks of climate change seriously enough. In my lifetime this was probably the first election where dissatisfaction with both major parties provided an opportunity to actually do something about it. Sadly, it didn't happen.
