Why is it that the worst flashlight I own is roughly a thousand times more powerful than the best flashlight ever featured in any video game. Please, developers, I'm begging you. My display is nowhere near as good as yours. It has glare and reflections. When I'm wandering around in the dark and I can't tell whats on my screen at all, nobody wins.
This also applies to moves! Nobody can see things this dark! Just make things visible on mediocre displays.
