I changed the charging PCB on my Samsung by opening the case using my plectrum and then replacing the part.
You can do this too - the battery pack was right there, well everything was, it just needs a few screws and components to remove.
I spent about 20 mins just ogling at the engineering and design to get all this into such a compact form factor.
Thank God for the industrious Asians.
remember how you used to be able to take the batteries out of you phones?
Funny how that feature got subtly removed.
