I think it's fairly accurate to say that when Nordics form networks, they're usually star networks.
One person forms the hub and pulls other people in for social functions, but if the person disappears, the whole network goes down, because people didn't form any connections separately.
In a way, my family unit was like that. We all had a strong bond to my mother, but not a strong bond to each other.
