Advice for developers.
Your product is weighed by consumers based on how well it delivers on its primary function, not the bells and whistles that surround the primary function.
If your product cannot deliver on its primary function, the bells and whistles are meaningless, and your product will be rejected by the vast majority of consumers who want the primary function.
A stellar product is one that can deliver the primary function AND give the extras that increase the value of use.
But if you truly want to sell your product and get it into the most hands, NEVER short the primary function. That should always be your priority. Ensure your priority is always focused on that function.
