Summer Milky Way, fisheye lens looking straight up.
The mottled texture of the summer milky way is brightest at the bottom of the frame, but extends up to the top of the frame. Stars are scattered throughout the image, but at the horizon there are fewer stars and the sky background is a bit brighter. To the right are some low clouds, illuminated from below by a nearby city.
Tech info: Sony a6300 camera. ISO 1600, 30 seconds. Fixed tripod. 6.5mm circular fisheye lens, f/2. Post processing boosted contrast and boosted blue channel to make sky background neutral in tone for aesthetic reasons.
