if you have a computer, try seeing if you can snag the files from the app’s documents/data directory, in case they still have the files but the app doesn’t read them anymore
I forget how to do this. There used to be a way to do it with libimobiledevice tools but I have no idea if they’re still up to date with the current iOS. iTunes used to be able to do it too but I haven’t used it in a long time.
