#WritersCoffeeClub: Weaker books in a series
Hey writing friends, I've noticed that I have a bunch of newer favorite books with just... really weak sequels. Like beautiful, lightning first books and the extremely meh seconds and thirds. This is definitely a direct outcome of "publishers are more likely to buy trilogies" and the fact they make you write each book in like, a year after the first one, right? Can we as the book buying public do something to get them to... stop?
