#Germany / Germany’s new leftist party and AfD rival makes strides in EU election
While the #AfD still led in some eastern German states according to polls mentioned, the #BSW managed to get 6% of the vote nationally in these EU elections after just being founded 5 months ago. In some eastern states which are AfD strongholds, the BSW even took a comfortable third place with up to 15% of the vote.
