And we all have different tastes. Why lie? Not that makeup is necessarily a lie... it's a form of self expression, but that's just it. You must be honest about expressing what you want to express. Do whatever makes you happy. Don't think it's necessary for men's taste. We don't have a single taste. We're all unique. I would argue that most of the pressure on women to conform to a certain standard is coming from women, and most men actually prefer a natural, albeit healthy, look. There's good reason for that. But there's a lot of nuance, a lot of variation. May as well play with your look to make it exactly the way YOU want to look (taking into consideration as much or as little as you want of what the kind of man you want to attract would prefer), or else just leave your face a blank canvas so that it's easy AF and still likely attracts some men. You are not forced to look any which way. That's my opinion anyway. Nobody has to follow it, but I would think it's liberating understanding the nuance so that you can just say "fuck it, ima do what I want in this world" with greater success.
