I just ordered 30+kWh of battery cells (EVE MB31 x 32) and two EEL DIY battery kits (with optional heaters). This was a move to beat the )(#*)(#*$ tariffs. Most everything else I can still source easily in the US or from non-tariffed territories. These tariffs are certainly going to make it harder for those who are wanting to buy/build enough energy storage to make a real go at being self-sovereign with their power.
Next up is more panels and a much larger hybrid inverter/charger. I am mostly settled on the inverter/charger. I am still waffling on panels. There are almost too many choices, and the least expensive bifacial panels are probably more than good enough, but . . . I am always wondering, so I continue to search.
