Like the writer I could probably have saved a lot of money on therapy if I'd learned how to handle disagreements within relationships from the books I read as a child. I wish I had had some sort of middle ground though, where characters had adventures like in \"boy\" books but also more developed interpersonal relationships like in \"girl\" books",
