You know something that bugs me about Gen Z's love for my generation (late 90s/early 2000s)?
From what I can see, a lot of them seem to think we were all scene kids/emos doing the cringey proto-TikTok meme videos on old Youtube.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Emos were the outcasts and most of us were not chronically online back then. In fact, I'd say the skater look was FAR more popular than the emo/scene look was.
