I started by hiding the dock and showing recent apps, but the secret was to do the OPPOSITE: hide recent apps, but always show the dock. This makes it trivial to pull in the occasional extra app from the dock as needed, but also *really* helps rewrite my brain to not expect iPad apps to always be full screen

Plus now I can have a dedicated Delta window running in the corner at all times 🙏
