To get to work today I had to walk through knee-deep snow on sidewalks that hadn't been plowed, on a major road close to schools and shopping.
It was uneven and difficult to walk on with 30+ cm bumps.
The road's surface was bare, of course.
Why aren't sidewalks cleared with the same priority as roads? Because the car-free are second-class, car culture dominates.
It should be equal rights for all road users, and some people cannot drive or refuse to. I hate cars so much.
