People on the left and right tend to look for villains, but often these things can't actually be controlled. That's how conspiracy theories work.

We hate the idea these things happen and there's nothing we can do about it. We hate it so much we make up villains.

And the right does that just like the left. In the scenario I described the made up villains are the childless cat women :)
