Also, people often don’t realise, but for the month of July birds don’t sing. Add that on top of pollution, lack of wild food [insects, plants berries], often no topped up bird feeders as people are on holiday, stresses like alien populations of parakeets, bird flu, pesticide, insecticide etc…. And cats being out and about catching babies that aren’t wise enough yet.
