Therapy lamps are crazy expensive. LED lamps on the same wavelength are not. So I have a small LED flood intended for a security camera strapped on top of the painful bit of my arm, powered from a USB-PD board. About 3 watts.
It's pleasantly warm.

I am trying infra-red therapy to fix the aftermath of a muscle tear I had a few months ago. Still occasional pain, it's loose muscle fibres moving against the membrane and will clear up.
