How do I get students more excited about the power of:
The Zero Product Property
The ZPP is the simple observation that if you have a product that equals zero, one or more of the factors must be zero.
a*b = 0 ⇒ a = 0 OR b = 0
We use this fact all the time in mathematics and it's not really complex enough to be celebrated much, but most student implicitly using it to solve quadratics don't really get it. 1/
