I would count that like the restaurants that had signs up blaming covid for staffing issues, slow order times, and rising prices.
Sure thing you should just leave because the place sucks. The owner likes to blame everyone but their decisions for their businesses issues.
Good restaurants kept staff just fine and just silently raised prices as needed knowing that the market would continue to demand a quality product.
