Really highlights how much heavy lifting that the likes of IG, X, & YT etc do for you
They make it so easy
But at what cost?
Well it's simple
YOU'RE THE PRODUCT!
The real world costs associated with posting all this information is handled by the social media company, in favour of incentivising more usage, but also in exchange for control
You're on their land
They can kick you off anytime
So instead, here we are on Nostr
I've happily spent just over $400 aud on an annual 100gb storage package with nostr.build (nprofile…a3vj)
Can't wait to see the creator ecosystem proliferate over here
Indeed I'd be very interested to see what investments can be made
