"content": "An excellent survey of Austen's greatest hits, but missing my favourite pieces of her juvenilia.\n\nAusten wrote Love and Freindship when she was 14, a sparkling display of teenage wit and irreverance, wickedly mocking the romance genre of her time. (The film of the same name is an adaptation of another story.) Followed a year later by The History of England, which does the same for the history textbooks she must have had to endure.\n\nnostr:npub1ny7qwqnkw6pg4m0uegzrdzwrckapzq7v7zku9p28hgv5aflvg8fq7zuv57 \n\nhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_and_Freindship",
