Got another weird gatekeeping email complaining about my implying that I'm an "artist", suggesting that I've not earned the title and that this devalues art.
Had I bothered to reply, I'd have pointed out that.
- I may or may not be a good artist; that's in the eye of the beholder.
- If I'm a crappy artist, that *increases* the value of the work of good artists, since I provide examples that they can favorably compare against. We all win!
