Alright friends! Hoot (https://spritely.institute/hoot/) is now available on macOS via Guile Homebrew (https://github.com/aconchillo/homebrew-guile). Should be easy peasy to install if you have Homebrew.
1. If you don't have it already, add Guile Homebrew tap to your system (you only need to do this once):
```
brew tap aconchillo/guile
```
2. If Guile is already installed with Homebrew, unlink it since we need a newer version:
```
brew unlink guile
```
3. Now, just install Hoot:
```
brew install guile-hoot
```
This will also install `guile-next` a bleeding edge version of Guile, so it might take a while if there's no bottle available.
