I think of animals differently than most people.

I remember my ex freaking out when her python didn't catch a mouse, and it got under the water dish.

I was like, relax, pythons can sense heat in the dark. The second the mouse comes out, it's fucked. That snake hasn't eaten in 2 weeks, that mouse will not get away.

She was worried the mouse would bite the snake.

I don't understand why that's a concern.

I was much more worried about the snake hunting the cat.
