🚩New UK rules from the FCA are going to make it next to impossible for anyone to accumulate a substantial amount of #bitcoin
Most of us will fall into the “restricted investor” category limiting us to no more than 10% of our assets (excluding home if primary residence and pension) being invested.
I was honest, stated I’ve invested ~20% net assets in the last 12 months but I agreed to invest no more than 10% in the next 12 months yet still failed the assessment 🤷🏻♂️ according to their handbook I now have one more shot at this before being locked out for 24 hours before being able to try again with slightly bent answers 🫠
You would need to have £340,000 in savings/stocks right now and not invested anything in the last 12 months to be able to buy 1BTC today.
