I'm starting to read through a collection of source texts on yoga, and this is the most insane stuff I've ever read. Not only does yoga have a wide swath of mutually exclusive sectarian contributors, but this means that some of the most psychotic things get included in what constitutes "yoga "
Mark Singleton warns against personally practicing anything in these texts, because a whole lot of it is stuff like drinking piss and giving yourself brain damage so you stop reincarnating.
