Proofreading text that is supposed to specifically be in British English (and not Am. E.) is surprisingly difficult without LLMs.
There are traditional spellcheckers, but most of them default to American as generic "English".
Even if you get proper British spellchecking, spelling is still just the tip of the iceberg. Word choice, sentence structure, I don't know any other tool that can help me there.
