the quality of alt text is important. and they can go fuck themselves. Alt text is important, and AI alt text isn't adequate, But I can guarantee you the wasteful spending is all about militaristic exploits, and has absolutely nothing to do with the workforce or social programs or blind people not working. We're barely a strain on the system. If everyone in our community stopped working, we wouldn't affect the economics of the USA in any way. Blind people have capitalism brain that causes them to devalue themselves and their own agency because society has trained them to believe work is the only thing that matters.
