but almost every version of the linux kernel except the one used by Zorin OS DID NOT RUN THE DISPLAY
OH, FUNNY THING, THEN A COUPLE MONTHS LATER EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS AN ALREADY GOOD WORKING VERSION, SUDDENLY ALL THE NEW KERNEL VERSIONS WORK
it's because linux is being really slow about adding their patches
this is shit going on in the background that you don't notice until you stray off the plantation and try to do things that aren't in their list of things they want to allow
just ask Shinoa Fores 死の灰 (nprofile…tgc8) about the shennanigans relating to linux kernels lately, it's not just AMD video it's other things too
