Something very funny occurred to me when I took a look at my old test results from the neuropsychologist's laboratory.
The way they test your hearing and memory there is by having you remember lists of words and numbers.
Meaningless lists of words and numbers. Why on earth would anyone need to be good at remembering meaningless information?
Maybe people who attend meaningless classes in school to get a diploma. Maybe people who follow orders without asking any questions.
Learning disability tests often focus on the kind of learning you're supposed to do in school. They ignore learning through heart, action and honour completely. It's ridiculous when you think about it.
