#Russia stock and currency markets plummeted during Wednesday trading amid reports that peace negotiations on Ukraine had hit another roadblock.
Which rather clearly indicates in whose primary interest are the #Trump driven “peace talks” which involve significant concessions from #Ukraine, the attacked country, not the aggressor.
I don’t think this sentiment among Russian investors means that their economy will instantly collapse following the stalling of “peace talks” (there are other hints for gradual deterioration), but it does indicate that the investors think that such version of peace would massively benefit Russia.
