A new day. A new chance to succeed.
Lots of things have had me feeling like I'm underwater lately. Nothing really in focus. Sounds muffled.
It's hard to move beyond some rudimentary efforts at food, sleep, and clean clothes.
I have the odd sense that I might be drowning but realize - like the old gag - the water's only knee deep.
I just need to stand up.
I keep telling myself I need time to think about it. To process past trauma.
I might be lying.
