According to the birdsite-Covid19NZ account, masks will remain free until end of September and RATs until end of 2023. Apparently decisions have yet to be made for after that.
So I just emailed Ayesha Verrall and asked the govt to commit to free masks and RATs permanently, since protecting yourself shouldn't only be an option for the wealthy.
I also asked for air purifiers in classrooms (improve class attendance!!)
And for StatsNZ to ask about Long Covid symptoms in its surveys.
