Not only was half of your genetic code contributed by a single sperm that made it out of 40 million to 1 billion, depending on your source ("source" works on multiple levels, here), but you're on earth. Do you have any goddamn clue how insanely rare earth is? How many things had to perfectly align for this whacky little ball of dirty iron to have the biosphere that it has? Google "the Fermi paradox" and "rare earth hypothesis."
