Yes, of course that is where my thought started, but I am not sure if I'd let TAILS count as single purpose. It does have a very narrow focus and it is designed to be usable without installing more apps, but it is also explicitly made possible and it does have multiple different programs allowing it to be used for a wide range of different actual purposes.
I'm thinking about something like that only even more dedicated, a live os like tails but with actually just one program and no option to be modified.
