I need advice from someone who has worked in cybersecurity please...?
(please don't ask personal info because I won't reveal it)
My problem is this:
I have been dealing with one financial institution for many years. Recently they merged with another, set up a new website,and since then every single time I log onto their website I get error messages then locked out and have to call their head office and they give me a temp code to reset my entire account log in info, PAC and security questions.
For months they have been saying it's because their website is new and there are bugs/glitches.
Today, I insisted they do something after it happened again and they said they don't know why this is occurring but they will get IT to look into it. (I am still waiting for a reply but not holding my breath)
I am VERY careful not to make typos when logging in. My passwords are very complicated and long, and *never* a *word*.
I know the phone number I am calling is to their office, not some scammer.
My computer is NOT "registered" with them, because I am too worried someone might get into it, so I have to answer a security question each time I log in.
There has been no unexplained movement/changes in my account.
This is the only website I have trouble logging into.
Have you heard of anyone having a similar issue ?
