Yeah. I have to do a whole diet change too, but I have endometriosis so they wanted to stop the internal bleeding ASAP so they have to adjust my hormones so I’m not menstruating.
The diet change is gonna be a lot slower because I’m going from 10 years of 100% plant-based (moral reasons/clearly not health) to “humane vegetarianism” (eggs and dairy from local farmer) first and then see what I can do as far as ethically-sourced animal protein. I will probably start with seafood 🤷♀️
Even if it’s from a local rancher, something in my body gets so grossed out at the idea of chewing meat still. I do think animal proteins are an important part of a healthy diet, I just sacrificed health for a bleeding heart syndrome for a while and it’s gonna be a process.
