Back when I allegedly earned enough to try drinking my way (figuratively) around the world & into the Earth, Orval Trappist ale happened my favorite too...though I'm sure the bottled stuff pales compared to the what the Trappists tap. Blanche de Chambly was a close 2nd (& 3rd, being sold in bigger bottles).On the same shelf was one whose label displayed a cartoonish laughing monk.
