I would assume no one without a conflict interest wants spam on bitcoin. Nonetheless, cause down on bitcoin pays, there's a conflict of interest and this renders the attempts to eliminated down futile. You can run knots and free your mempool from spam but that doesn't mean spam won't be in the confurmed blocks. It will be; though your node didn't see the txs in its mempool before confirmation. It's a battle we can't win as long as spammers can afford to outbid the general use case txs.

It's a sad truth we all must face.
