Not even close. Same taxonomic family Coronaviridae but NOT the same Genus. Other members of the same Genus as COVID include SARS the original with ~10% mortality rate and MERS with ~ 35% mortality rate (some debate on this). The fact is this is a novel virus we don’t know a lot about considering but what we do know is avoidance is always best practice. Always. #MaskUp",
