If you go down this route I recommend experimenting with Retroarch. If you want to use this handheld to switch from Wii to play SNES/GBA/Genesis or whatever you will probably engage with it. It is a real nice one stop shop for dozens of emulators with the same executable handling GUI, configs, etc. But because it is doing a lot and there's also autismo trannies deving it (I think) it has some quirks that it is better to learn on PC. That is, if you emulate on PC, of course. If you want to play SNES/Arcade etc on PC, then you can also use retroarch and learn and have fun at the same time. If not no sense doing an extra course on it.
