Two Friday thoughts:
1. An election isn’t a marriage, it’s just a bus. No candidate is going to be a lifelong match for your needs, so you catch the one who’ll get you closer to your destination. That doesn’t mean you think they’re perfect, it just means they’re the right fit at this time.
2. 2SLGBTQIA+ rights and people are under attack around the world (the list is long but includes Uganda, Ghana, Florida, New Brunswick, …) and I appreciate leaders who consistently show up to fight for us.
