One of the crazy things about Bitcoin, is that when you have those moments of recognizing just how significant it is, and realizing that we’re early but it’s starting to catch on (gradually then suddenly), the realization is accompanied by something between a thrill and anxiety.
This is happening. Do I have enough? What can I do to acquire more?
Not from greed, but from wanting to ensure that my children and grandchildren have the best possible chance at a safe, stable, healthy, and fulfilling life.
Money doesn’t buy happiness or fulfillment, but it buys security. Think “Maslow’s hierarchy of needs” and how the satisfaction of basic needs enables the pursuit of deep and expansive endeavors.
I don’t want my grandkids in private jets. (Lol “private jets” just autocorrected to “private keys). I don’t want them to grow up insulated from reality. But I want them to be free to explore the passions through which they can then contribute their greatest gifts, their maximized potential, to the world, to their communities, to their families.
How much Bitcoin is enough?
This thought process is incomplete if unaccompanied by another (arguably more important) layer..
Financial security is one thing. Emotional and intellectual evolution is another requirement, and I will do all I can, when it’s my turn, to create and raise humans with wise heads and generous hearts.
